Peter is a servant of Jesus, husband, and father. He’s written a few books. He’s passionate to see the church return to the pristine pattern of the New Testament.

About 25 years ago, God told him to leave a comfortable life in the American Midwest and go to the slums of Asia. He remained there for years, ministering to some very poor people. He taught a few leaders to plant simple, house churches with nothing but the Bible as a guide. Then he lived in a jungle with his family for a several more years.

He’s doing some other stuff for God now, as he continues to look “for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God” (Hebrews 11:10).

Here are some of his beliefs:

The sixty-six books of the Bible are the inspired and, therefore, inerrant word of God. The Bible is the final authority for all we believe and how we are to live. Adding to the word of God or taking away from it causes spiritual problems.

The one true God exists eternally in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is infinite in love, perfect in judgments, and unchanging in righteousness and mercy. God not only created the world, but also now upholds and sustains all that exists. He will bring all things to their proper consummation in Christ Jesus, to the glory of His name.

Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ (Messiah), the Son of God. He is God incarnate, fully God and fully man. He was eternally preexistent with the Father and the Holy Spirit. He was conceived and born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and offered Himself as a penal, substitutionary sacrifice for sinners. By His blood shed at the cross, He obtained for us eternal redemption, the forgiveness of sins and life everlasting. He was raised bodily on the third day and ascended to the right hand of the Father, there to make intercession for the saints forever. He will return to earth again to reign in righteousness.

For the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. “Marvel not that you must be born again” (John 3:7). We are born again by grace through faith, when we believe in Jesus Christ and accept his redemptive work for us. The Holy Spirit indwells each believer, enabling him or her to live a godly life.

Water baptism is an important step of obedience for those who are born again – an outward symbol of inward spiritual re-birth.

Holy Spirit baptism empowers believers to be witnesses for God and enables them to operate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The gifts of the Spirit described in the New Testament are operative today.

The church is made up of all who believe in Jesus, all around the world. Insofar as the church has followed vain religious traditions and not obeyed the word of God, she has deviated from God’s plan. As the church once again obeys the word of God and rejects vain religious traditions, she will be able to fulfill her glorious purpose.

There will be a resurrection of both the saved and the lost – those that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation, and those that are saved unto the resurrection of life.
